Have you ever taken an online class using Angel or Blackboard? Moodle is basically the same thing. It is a great way to use discussion boards and journals in your classroom.
Benefits of Moodle:
- Students can "journal" back and forth to each other on other students' work.
- Teachers no longer have to take home a stack of papers or journals to grade- it is able to be accessed from any computer with Internet.
- Teachers are able to grade right on the Moodle, giving them a letter grade, with comments.
- Different way students can collaborate or learn!
- Using 21st Century Skills
- Students/Teachers can upload documents, files, etc to share back and forth.
- Students use a voice that they are not afraid to share.
